RJD leader of Gopalganj has written a letter to the President demanding euthanasia for himself and his family. RJD leader Rajesh Kumar Yadav says that the accused in the case of shooting by the accused a year ago has not been arrested. Angered by this, he has written a letter to the President demanding euthanasia for himself and his family. Regarding this, he has said that he will present his matter to the President through post and email.
Know what and why the letter was written
In this case, it is said that Rajesh Kumar Yadav, state vice-president of Panchayat Raj Cell of RJD, son of Chandrika Yadav, resident of Turkahan of Nagar police station area, has said in a letter sent to the President that a year ago, I was attacked with the intention of killing me. An FIR of that incident has been registered in Nagar police station under case number-523/23. But the main accused of the said case had given a bail application in the court which was rejected by the court. After this, the accused is pressurizing me with threats that you settle the case in the court or else you will be killed. Because of this, we remain mentally stressed. My business has come to a complete standstill, due to which the problem of starvation has arisen in the family. The main accused of the said case, Raju Pandey, is roaming around saying that Rajesh Kumar Yadav will now be killed.
Police accused of negligence
The RJD leader says that if the main accused in the said case is not arrested within a month, then we will commit suicide with the whole family, for which the Police Captain Gopalganj will be responsible. Because I have appealed for justice by applying to the Superintendent of Police many times. I have not been provided any kind of security by the local police station, due to which I am taking this step. He also said that on 6 July 2023, he was shot by bike-riding miscreants during a morning walk, in which a named case was registered. Despite the completion of one year of the incident, the main accused is out of police custody. And I am being threatened, due to which I am scared and frightened. It is better that I commit suicide with my family than getting harassed bit by bit and dying at his hands.
